Job Summary
Responsible for fielding frontline technical support incidents as support team member for employees requiring IT related assistance.
Responsibilities
Setup, install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, computer peripherals, and printers for company employees.
Accept all incoming service requests. Answer incoming calls, respond to email, walk-up, and web requests.
Adequately document all relevant problem details and all steps taken to resolve problem. Trouble-shoot all problems with a goal of first contact resolution.'
Handling a wide variety of incoming questions, requests and issues from inbound calls, emails, walkups, and web requests - logging calls, understanding, diagnosing, and solving problems - documenting solutions and/or actions taken.
Attempt to resolve the issue at first contact, and when required, escalate to other support resources.
Dispatch tickets and/or hot-transfer calls to Help desk Tier 2 or Application Support Analysts as appropriate.

SUMMARY
As a member of the IT team you will install, deploy, upgrade and maintain servers to support existing and new infrastructure both in Hosting and Corporate office environments. You will design and implement upgrades, develop infrastructure, manage and automate recurring tasks. You will be an escalation function for both support and NOC teams and you will share in 24/7 on call responsibilities as well as weekend work load. ROLE:
